TO ensure our communities’ safety, most especially to those who rely on the essential services provided by our delivery-partners, Grab Philippines has taken active steps to conduct Covid-19 Rapid Tests on its delivery-partners in Davao City. Grab has also put in place a quarantine subsidy program in place should delivery-partners test positive for Covid-19 and may need to undergo mandatory quarantine.

Conducted last July 28 and administered by Davao One World Diagnostic Center Incorporated, Grab’s initiative to conduct Covid-19 Rapid Testing to its delivery partners is in-step with its GrabProtect program to ensure that vital services such as delivery and mobility remain safe for our customers and communities.

Likewise, this initiative supports the Davao City Government’s expanded public health policy in ensuring that delivery-partners who are allowed to serve our communities are tested and Covid-19-free.

“Since the beginning of our fight against Covid-19, delivery services have remained vital in providing access to daily essentials and ensuring business continuity to our MSMEs. However, we believe that we must never compromise on safety and hygiene. Through this Covid-19 testing initiative, we hope that we continue to keep our communities in Davao safe so that we can safely and surely help reopen our economy,” Raymond Dejan, Grab Philippines Senior Cities Manager for Visayas and Mindanao, said. /
