Power cuts on May 16 some Davao City areas

DAVAO Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct different sets of two 30-minute power interruptions on May 16, Sunday, affecting customers in different areas of Davao City.

These service disruptions will be necessary to facilitate phase two of NGCP’s upgrading works at their Davao Substation.

The first set of two 30-minute power interruptions will be anytime between 1:15 to 2:15 a.m. and 7 to 8 a.m. Specifically affected are customers in Agdao, Cabaguio Avenue, R. Castillo Street, Lanang, Pampanga, including San Antonio, Ubalde, Pampanga Executive Homes, Nova Tierra Village, Fortune Homes, Insular Village and neighboring areas.

Also affected are customers from Davao Light Buhangin Substation along Mamay Road going to N. Arroyo Street via JP Laurel Avenue, including Vincent Heights Subdivision, Roseville Subdivision, St. Anthony Village, Belisario Heights Subdivision, Lanang Executive Homes and neighboring areas.

Meanwhile, a separate set of two 30-minute power interruptions will also be conducted anytime between 1:15 to 2:15 a.m. and 7 to 8 a.m. Customers from Don Julian Rodriguez Sr. Avenue in Maa Road going to Mandug and parts of Indangan via Juliville Subdivision, Panorama Homes and Rancho Palos Verdes, including Tigatto and neighboring areas will experience these power interruptions. This includes customers in DBP Village, Le Jardin Subdivision, Nacilla Subdivision, Luzviminda Village, Midland Village and nearby areas. Also affected are customers from Davao Light Maa Substation going to Yniguez Subdivision and to corner Ruby Street and Circumferential Road, via Eden Street and Gold Street in Maa and nearby areas as well as customers from corner Maa and Diversion Roads going to road to Shrine Hills, including Monteritz, Woodridge, Las Terrazas, NHA Maa, Langub and neighboring areas.
