Tagum school receives int’l aid for Water System Project
SAN Agustin Integrated School in Tagum City celebrated the inauguration and turnover of the Water System Project made possible through the partnership between the Rotary Club (RC) of Godeok, District 3620, Republic of South Korea and the Rotary Club of Tagum North, marking an important milestone for the entire community.
Members of the Rotary Clubs from South Korea and Tagum North attended the official unveiling ceremony, which highlighted their unwavering commitment to selflessly serving communities.
Among the notable attendees were Rozanne “Twinkle” C. Gamboa, RC Godeok Korea District Governor Ingeun Jo, RC of Tagum North President Rommel B. Gumito, and RC of Godeok Korea President Jinho Kim, with their corresponding members.
Key DepEd officials, such as Schools Division Superintendent (SDS) Alona C. Uy, Assistant SDS Neil Michael A.
De Asis, Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) Nila L. Digal, and Noel Escobal were also present in addition to Rotary Club representatives.
The event was made even more significant by the attendance of Barangay Captain Rolly Mones, Barangay Council members, SGC Co-Chairperson Kevin Ahn, and officers and members of the Parent-Teachers Association.
School Head Maybelle Isidoro expressed her sincere gratitude to the Rotary Clubs of Godeok Korea and Tagum North for their constant support and kindness during her speech.
