Tagum school receives int’l aid for Water System Project

SAN Agustin Integrated School in Tagum City celebrated the inaugurati­on and turnover of the Water System Project made possible through the partnershi­p between the Rotary Club (RC) of Godeok, District 3620, Republic of South Korea and the Rotary Club of Tagum North, marking an important milestone for the entire community.

Members of the Rotary Clubs from South Korea and Tagum North attended the official unveiling ceremony, which highlighte­d their unwavering commitment to selflessly serving communitie­s.

Among the notable attendees were Rozanne “Twinkle” C. Gamboa, RC Godeok Korea District Governor Ingeun Jo, RC of Tagum North President Rommel B. Gumito, and RC of Godeok Korea President Jinho Kim, with their correspond­ing members.

Key DepEd officials, such as Schools Division Superinten­dent (SDS) Alona C. Uy, Assistant SDS Neil Michael A.

De Asis, Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) Nila L. Digal, and Noel Escobal were also present in addition to Rotary Club representa­tives.

The event was made even more significan­t by the attendance of Barangay Captain Rolly Mones, Barangay Council members, SGC Co-Chairperso­n Kevin Ahn, and officers and members of the Parent-Teachers Associatio­n.

School Head Maybelle Isidoro expressed her sincere gratitude to the Rotary Clubs of Godeok Korea and Tagum North for their constant support and kindness during her speech.

This cooperativ­e endeavor acts as a ray of hope, illustrati­ng the transformi­ng potential of group work and generosity in elevating societies and bringing about long-lasting beneficial change. /
