Holy Crossians get Masterclass with ‘King of Talk’ Boy Abunda

-

PHILIPPINES’ ‘King of Talk’ Boy Abunda filled the Sedes Sapientiae Auditorium of the Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) with wisdom and glee as he graced the award-winning GMA Masterclass: The Conversation Series on Thursday, April 4.

The event aimed at bolstering professionals and students’ motivation in embarking life’s journey, and inspiring them in pursuing their goals in their academic and professional life.

“I wanted to do this. I wanna teach. I am home when I am in school,” said Tito Boy during his talk with TV host Martin Javier on his journey in his academic accomplishments and being a guest for the masterclass in HCDC.

He also emphasized during the discussion the importance of happiness and good companions in the age of social media and in facing the norms of the community.

“Some people come in a space of love. Some people are concerned. The world has a tendency to define who you are. Spend time with the people you love,” he added.

Tito Boy also urged the crowd to remove negative memories, saying “know that you can change your mindset, change that memory, and then you will smile.”

As a professional host, talent manager, communicator and professor, Eugenio R. Abunda Jr., in real life, left the HCDC community empowered through sharing snippets of his life’s journey.

“In the evening of life, we will be judged on love alone,” he concluded quoting St. John of the Cross.

“Since its inception in 2018, the ‘GMA Masterclass’ series has given students and the academic communities across the Philippines a platform for new learning and discourse on various local and national issues.
