AUFMC opens PETSCAN facility

The Angeles University Foundation Medical Center (AUFMC), in partnershi­p with KHealth Corporatio­n, has recently inaugurate­d its Positron Emission Tomography–Computed Tomography (PET-CT) facility in Angeles City, making it the fourth in the Philippine­s and first outside Manila.

In line with its mission to provide high quality and cost efficient health care services to Central and Northern Luzon, AUFMC now offers more relevant and more accurate molecular diagnostic informatio­n to patients with cancer, heart disease, neurologic conditions and a variety of other disorders. The facility is led by Eric Cruz, MD, SPSNM, CCD, and staffed with highly experience­d and well trained physicians who are board certified in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine.
