MABALACAT CITY – The Mabalacat City Water District (MCWD) is set to commission a new pumping station worth P10 million in Barangay Mabiga to address the issue on the poor quality of water supply in the area.

MCWD general manager Francis Dimaliwat issued the disclosed this in reaction to complaints regarding “dirty water and low pressure” raised by some residents of Casmor Subdivision in said village.

Dimaliwat at the same time appealed to the consumers to be patient as the water district is continuously implementing projects to improve its services. Please bear with us because we want to improve the issues on low-pressure and the quality of water.”

The ongoing interconnection of water distribution lines is causing the poor quality of water in Casmor Subdivision, according to Dimaliwat.

A resident hit the MCWD for the low-quality of water supply in said subdivision.

In a Facebook post, the resident stated that he should have kept his deep well instead of availing of the water district’s services.

“Considering your office is just right in front of our subdivision, we expect better service. But then again, who are we for you to listen to our valid complaints,” the villager added.

But Dimaliwat said they informed the residents and homeowners about the ongoing project which is aimed to improve the water system in the vill age.
