The positive impact of supervision is undeniably recognized even in today’s management of schools. Part of supervision which are re-strengthened by the Department of Education are articulated in DepEd Order 2 S. 2015 (RPMS) and DepEd Order 35 S. 2016 (SLACs). Evidently, supervision is a combination of developing people and appraisal of their performance.

Focusing on the two essential aspects will not create any impression of snooping and focusing on faults and weaknesses. Using the identified weaknesses as inputs for technical assistance to ensure higher levels of teaching performance will affirmed the belief of teachers that supervision is for their growth, their development and their advancement.

One worth mentioning advantage of supervision is growing with teachers. The meaningful and rich sharings may not be read from books but from the wisdom of accrued experiences alone.

The deep thoughts and ideas that are truly worth valuing may not be heard from any professional lectures but from the healthy and sincere academic sharings of teachers. These are the fertile grounds that will make professionals learn in the school— the teachers with their school head.
