Netizens praise speedy services of one-stop-service center in Clark

-

CLARK FREEPORT ZONE – The One Stop Service Center for OFWs (OSSCOs) in Clark Freeport Zone has generally received positive feedback from clients in less than four months of operation.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Department of Transportation (DOTr), last September 2016, led the launching of the second OSSCO in the country.

DOLE Regional Director Ana Dione reported to Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III that “netizens” in social media posted positive remarks/feedback over the OSSCOs Facebook page— “Clark OFW OneStop-Processing Center.”

Dione noted that the OSSCO also garnered couple of 5-star ratings, with 5 being the highest, based on its Facebook page’s rating review feature.

“We are happy to inform you of the early success of the OSSCO in Clark Freeport Zone in terms of our delivery of various government services to our clients, mostly OFWs and those residing nearby,” Dione said.

“Upon visiting the OSSCOs Facebook Page, we were deeply humbled and delighted to see and read our client’s positive feedback and responses in easily availing government’s services to them in no time,” she added.

Dione reported to Bello some of the positive responses/feedback netizens had to say about the services of the OSSCO in the Clark Freeport Zone:

“Easy lang pala pagkuha ng OEC,” says Hong Kong-based OFW Juania Lambino Abraham, after securing her Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).

“Unbelievable… PRC renewal in 30 minutes! Kudos to the accommodating of Clark One Stop Processing Center,” says Financial Analyst Jeffrey Tolentino after renewing his license as a Certified-Public Accountant.

“Got it in 10 mins. PRC ID thanks to Clark One Stop Shop,” says registered nurse couple Ysbeth Katrina and Jonathan Macatiag, after swinging by at the OSSCO.

“Yehey! PRC ID renewed in less than an hour. I’m so happy I get to accomplish something today. Next, passport nang makalayas muli,” says OFW licensed-dentist Arthur Pagila.

“Fastest NBI processing,” says OFW Aldrin Galang, after availing for an NBI-clearance from the National Bureau of Investigation.

“Nag-process ako ng NBI clearance renewal dito. In and out in 2 mins. Not exaggerating. Nag-inquire din ako sa Pag-IBIG. Pagdating ko sa Pag-IBIG, walang naghihintay. Ba’t ganoon? Pag ako, isang kwartong walang laman lang ang Pag-IBIG. Chos! Hahahaha,” says netizen James Dizon after securing his NBI clearance and inquiring from the Pag-IBIG.

Though the OSSCO generally had positive reviews/ feedback, Dione also acknowledged that there were few ‘netizens’that were not too happy in availing their services.

“We recognize that we have areas of concerns that need to be addressed as we cannot entirely please everybody. We do apologize for any inconvenience that some of our clients may have experienced or encountered. The people who man this Center are also human and could sometimes fall short, but rest assured, we are always working on improving the way we do things to serve our clients better,” Dione said.

Earlier this month, Dione already reported to Bello that some 22,446 clients have already benefited from the OSSCO from September 2016 to January 2017.

The OFW OPSC is opened from 8:00am to 5:00pm from Mondays to Fridays.
