GREAT LEADERS ARE GREAT FOLLOWERS

-

CHONA C. MANABAT

There are people who have the potential to lead. They have a strong personality to persuade people to follow. These are respected, appreciated and highly regarded as somebody. Not all are gifted the traits of a leader.

Before becoming a leader, one must be a good follower. How can we lead people if we do not follow the instructions of those in authority. To be a great leader, be a follower. In leading, the attitude of being caring, considerate and humble must be possessed. A proud, inconsiderate and irritable leader cannot manage well. He / She create chaos and misunderstanding in the organization if there is no harmonious relationship in a workplace.

When the leader treats his / her subordinates fair and square, then he/ she is producing a awesome worker whose work will be done. If not perfectly, better and organized.

Leadership donates responsibility. It should not be regarded as a position to be proud of, but a responsibility to handle with integrity and sincerity. It is a privilege to be a leader as long as we put our hearts to those we work with. Harmonious relationship between the leader and the followers is really important. Best results come from good relation between the employer and the employee.

As employees we should have the attitude of being obedient and willingness. These will be then smooth flow of work.
