Perennial problems encountered by teachers are only handed through stories by mouth. Sometimes they caused unbearable stress to teachers and sometimes also they are treated as funny experiences. Teachers handle classroom-based problems in different ways but in most cases, they remained unsolved.
The department provided a more scientific way in solving classroom-based problems. It was clearly stipulated in Deped Order 43 S. 2015 that research will guide teachers in dealing with their problems and find appropriate solution in a more scientific approach. This gives justification to the conduct of action research which is only confined on the actual problems encountered by the teachers.
Action research allows the teachers to reflect o the real problem particularly the main cause. But more than this, it allows the teachers to be more critical and creative in applying for the most suitable strategy to solve the problem. This will instil to the teachers that the best way to solve their classroom problems is through scientific which is action research. — oOo— II of Caduang Tete Elementary School, Macabebe East
