Goodbye Joaquin Tuazon aka Arjo Atayde

-

The greatest villain of the new generation bids goodbye!

Arjo Atayde ended his role as Joaquin in the prime time series “Ang Pr obi nsyano.”

This was after he kidnapped Cardo’s (Coco Martin) wife Alyanna (Yassi Pressman) at the night of their wedding.

Cardo came to the rescue for his wife and had a face-off with his mortal enemy.

In the episode aired on May 24, Joaquin finally met his death when Cardo stabbed him on the neck using a knife.

In his Instagram account Arjo posted his photo and captioned

“You will forever be a part of my life. I will miss you Joaquin. You’ve done so much to me.. i love you Joaqs. Till we meet again [cry emoji] #JoaquinTuazon #TeamPromdi FOREVER!”

Prior to Joaquin’s death in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, Arjo had been posting behind-the-scenes photos of his character’s last few days in the teleserye.

Arjo’s portrayal in this series received good reviews from audiences and critics alike.

In fact, Arjo won the Teleserye Supporting Actor of the Year in The PEP List Year 3 held in August 2016. In his acceptance speech, he dedicated his award to Coco.

The death of Arjo’s character signifies the start of the action-drama series’s Book 2.

On May 25, new characters were introduced in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. Some of the new cast members were already announced during the May 18 story conference for Book 2. This included John Arcilla, Angel Aquino, Ejay Falcon, Pokwang, Sid Lucero, and the father-son tandem of Mark and Lito Lapid.

In the teaser aired for the May 25 episode, it was seen that Coco’s younger brother, Ronwaldo Martin, will also be a part of this primetime series.

Dreamscape Entertainment’s Eric John Salut posted on his Instagram account a photo of Ronwaldo together with Mark Lapid, Jhong Hilario, and director Toto Natividad.

Ronwaldo’s character in the series is named Roldan Mariano.

Eric John wrote in the caption, “Kaabang-abang! The new cast of #FPJAP with Direk Toto Natividad @jhonghilario @marklapid and Ronwaldo Martin! Abangan ngayong gabisa#FPJAPKabanata”.
