-

With the full cooperation of the administration, faculty, staff, nonteaching personnel and pupils, Lubao Elementary had conducted a successful parent’s orientation last April 26, 2017.

Atty. Corazon A. David, served as the facilitator. She talked a lot about the duties and responsibilities of parents to their children in their schooling.

The goal of the orientation is to set things that will help the parents to be informed and guided on the thing and rules happening in the school. It also aims to continually show that the LES community is concerned not only with the students but also with the support and awareness of the parents.

The said event was a step for the school to be connected with voice of its community. Many agenda were brought out and many policies were clearly explained by Atty. Corazon A. David.

A healthy, safe, and supportive learning environment enables students and even the school as a system to learn in powerful ways. Such learning environment promotes innovation, reinforces and enhances the leadership capacity in the school because competent, excellent, and dedicated educators want to work under such conditions too. In school, different students meet the challenges of daily life, with some experiencing the burden of problems, which greatly affect their performance in academics. As educators, we need to motivate our students in ascertaining their inner strengths, abilities, and discovering what truly inspires them. Indeed, effective teaching requires effective classroom leadership and management. Classroom management means much more. It involves the establishment and maintenance of the classroom environment so that educational goals can be accomplished. Effective management is the ability to provide a positive social and physical environment conducive to the learning process. Discipline should not be viewed as being primarily concerned with punishment

Therefore, teaching must go beyond teaching our students the concepts of reading, writing and listening. Proficiency in language facility should also be stressed out through the teaching of oral communications with correct grammar usage. This is because, students need to learn and use aspects of language associated with the academic discourse in various school subjects. In like manner, students need to become more aware of how language functions in various modes of communication across the curriculum.
