THE VALUE OF BEING GRATEFUL

“In everything, give thanks”, this Biblical verse should be remembered always. A positive attitude of being thankful is very important because this is how we will be known for. The more we will be blessed when we are grateful. There are blessings which do not only appear as material things, sometimes there are what we call blessings in disguise. Often, we feel bad when we have problems, unknowingly, God sends people who will help us solve the problems and this is a clear example of disguise blessings.

As we wake up each day, let us thank our Loving God for a new day of journey in meeting people, doing good deeds for God’s glory and living with our friends, colleagues and family who console and appreciate us. May this be our source of motivation in having a grateful lives. God is good at all times. We may not be doing our best yet He is always ready to give the best for us.

When we are thankful, we let other people imitate us for this positive outlook in life. It is so awesome to hear something saying “Thank you”“Salamat po” “Dakal Salamat” and other languages expressing gratitude. We believe that the more we give our gesture of gratitude, the more we receive blessings. One of the best character traits we must possess is being grateful.
