BALANGA CITY, Bataan — Bataeños who are part of the persons with disability (PWD) community should never feel deprived of their rights as Governor Albert Garcia vowed to give them equal opportunities in employment and lifestyle in the province.

During the recent Provincial Celebration of the 39th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week, Garcia cited projects in the province that are PWD-friendly.

He said the economic growth of the province attracts investments and employment opportunities including for PWDs such as business process outsourcing companies.

Garcia also said infrastructures built in the province are accessible to PWDs.

These include the soon-to-rise provincial capitol dubbed as The Bunker that will include six elevators and wheelchair ramps.

The annual celebration organized by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, in partnership with the Provincial Council on Disability Affairs , bannered the theme Karapatan at Pribilehiyo ng May Kapansanan: Isakatuparan at Ipaglaban!
