THE
Philippine National Police (PNP) presented Sunday a drug suspect who claimed he had transacted with Kian Lloyd Delos Santos, the 17-year old boy killed by Caloocan police during an antinarcotics operation.
Renato Loveras, an alleged drug pusher, said he was "transacting" with Delos Santos at least twice a week.
He said Delos Santos delivered to him illegal drugs sourced from a certain Neneng Escopin.
"Bale kapag confirmed na ang order, iaabot na ni Kian sa akin. Iaabot ko sa kanya ang bayad," he sai d .
He said Escopin also employs two more minors as his drug runners.
Delos Santos was killed on Wednesday in Baranggay 160, Caloocan after allegedly resisting arrest and firing shots at the police.
Recovered from him were plastic sachets of suspected shabu and a calibre .45 pistol.
Delos Santos' family, however, denied his involvement in illegal drugs.
They obtained a CCTV footage showing Delos Santos being dragged by cops moments before he was found dead.
A witness also refuted the cops' claims, saying that Delos Santos even pleaded for his life before he was shot dead.
The three policemen involved in the said operation along with their chief of police have been relieved, pending an investigation.
