PDEA-3 nabs notorious pusher in Mabalacat City

MABALACAT CITY – A notorious drug peddler was nabbed by agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region III (PDEA-3) in a drug sting besidethe Dau Central Elementary School, Barangay Dau of this city on September 14, 2017.

In a report submitted to PDEA Director General Aaron N. Aquino, PDEA-3 Director Ismael G. Fajardo Jr. identified the suspect as Doroteo B. Tuazon, alias TENG, 55, married, and a resident of 505 Roxas Street, Barangay Dau, Mabalacat City.

Fajardo said that the summary of information report (SOI) emanated from information from the Presidential Complaint Center in Malacanang Palace.

The provincial officer of PDEA Pampanga disclosed that PDEA agents have been monitoring the subject for three months until his arrest after selling shabu to a poseur buyer.

“This anti-drug operation was the result of active involvement of the community and we would like to encourage the people in the barangay to do the same. We encourage them to be the eyes and ears of PDEA and PNP since they are the grassroots and the first line of defense,” Fajardo added.

Confiscated from the suspect were 11 heatsealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu and the buy-bust money used in the st i n g.

Tuazon is currently detained at the PDEA-3 Jail Facility in Diosdado Macapagal Government Center, Barangay Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. Charges for violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and 11 (possession of dangerous drug) are being readied for filing in court.
