LGU employees in CSF run for healthy lifestyle

OF SAN FERNANDO---Around 100 employees from the local government of San Fernando participat­ed in the “Takbo Kawaning Fernandino Year 4” held September 14 in line with the city’s celebratio­n of the 117th Philippine Civil Service Anniversar y.

Open to both males and females, the run was divided into three age groups namely A: 20 to 30 years old; B: 31 to 40 years old; and C: 41 years old and above. Its categories include 3k and 5k.

Winners in the 5k race for male category were Erwin Manese (A), Jayson Mallari (B), and Jason Caguiat (C). For the 3k race, the winners were Mark Alvin Salvador (B) and Albert Mayled (C).

For the 5k race for female category, the top finishers were Nori Amargo (A), Jenelyn Gantan (B) and Rowena Esguerra (C). Joanna Aquino and Rosanna Laconico were awarded for topping the list for 3k’s B and C categories, respective­ly.

All those who made it in the top 15 finishers per category also received cash prizes from the local government.

During the program, City Human Resource Developmen­t Officer Rachelle Yusi said the activity seeks to promote a healthy lifestyle as well as build

support of the people with regards particular­ly on the infrastruc­ture projects in Central Luzon.

“Dapat ho ay ipagdasal nyo kami upang yung issues na masalimuot kagaya ng legal at right of way ay aming matugunan upang yung pangarap hindi lang po ng Pampanga kundi ang buong kapuluan ay mabigyan kasagutan,” Tugade said.

“We need your help. We need your support. We need your understand­ing. Huwag niyo po kaming tapunan ng batikos at alinlangan. Ibigay niyo ang kamay ninyo na makikiisa at gagabay sa amin upang ang mga proyekto ditto sa Central Luzon at higit sa lahat sa Clark ay mabigyan realidad,” Tugade said.
