Mexico town implements new re-routing scheme

MEXICO, Pampanga – A new re-routing scheme is set to be implemente­d in this town to reduce the traffic congestion along the Jose Abad Santos (JASA) Avenue which is being caused by an ongoing road constructi­on in Barangay San Pablo.

With the scheme, all vehicles including trucks, buses, jeeps and private vehicles that passes the said thoroughfa­re will be diverted to prevent the daily traffic jams especially during rush hours.

Public utility jeepneys from Arayat, Candaba San Luis, and Nueva Ecija going to the City of San Fernando are advised to turn right to the San RoqueSan Nicolas Road, then turn left to San Antonio (Tinajero Road), turn right to San Jose Matulid (Sto. Domingo Village) then turn left to Lagundi leading to the City of San Fernando between 6 to 11 a.m. only.

The San Roque-San Nicolas road going to Barangay Parian will also be open for private vehicles going to the City of San Fernando and North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

All light vehicles from Arayat, Candaba, Sta. Ana going to the City San Fernando can use an alternate road in Barangay Sto. Domingo going to San Pablo JASA road and will exit at the PTT Gas Station in the City of San Fernando. Road signages as well as traffic enforcers will be available to guide motorists.

Trucks and buses from Arayat, Candaba, San Luis and Nueva Ecija are not allowed to enter Mexico and are advised to take Quezon road going to San Simon NLEX exit or McArthur Hiway as alternate r out e.

The implementa­tion of the traffic scheme started on September 12 and will be effective until October 17.

The event is also an avenue for businesses and sectors in agricultur­al trade to showcase their products. The event is also an opportunit­y for those in agricultur­e trade to market products and expand their network. The event is expected to bring in people from the agricultur­e and business sector in the whole region.

Exhibitors of agri products and allied business of the agricultur­e sector in the region will also showcase their products and services.

The project ASPIRE has four driving components, namely: production support; enterprise developmen­t and industry support; investment promotion; market promotion and developmen­t.
