ANGELES CITY- The Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) was again recognized as the best performing police office in Central Luzon by the Police Regional Office III ( PRO -3 ) .

The award was formally received by ACPO represented by City Director PSupt. Patrick Villacorte during the recent observance of the 116th Police Service Anniversary held at Camp Olivas in City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

The anniversary celebration, with the theme “Buhay ng Pulis Handang Ibuwis para sa Katahimikan at Kaayusan”, was observed through the awarding of best police offices in the provincial, city and municipal level.

The ACPO was conferred with the award following the series of field evaluation and validation conducted by the team from Camp Crame led by PCSupt. Eduardo Garado last August.

According to ACPO, the field assessment included onsite visits of all the police stations in Angeles City and a substantiation of their respective operations and accomplishments.

For his part, Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan extended his congratulations to the men and women of ACPO.

“This is yet another manifestation that our local policemen are doing their very best to make Angeles a safe place to live in. The city is indeed grateful of this achievement despite the peace and order crisis that the nation is experiencing right now,” said Pamintuan.

On the recent report released by the ACPO during the City Peace and Order Council assembly, the city recorded a significant drop of 18.21 percent in crime volume.

Pamintuan also lauded the local police for the consistent drop on the recorded crime volume in the city which is a significant attribute towards attaining the city’s development goals.
