Day in and day out, technology has become a part of our daily lives. Convenience may be the synonym of technology due to the enormous services dispensed from the output of technology such as appliances that help make our work easier. Gadets like cellular phones have become necessities. It is but appropriate to express our sincerest gratitude to the technology that we are experiencing now. Let’s get to know more about technology. According to our techie friend wikipedia, Technology (“science of craft”, from Greek techne, “art, skill, cunning of hand”; and -logia) is the collection of techniques, skills, methods, and processes used in the production of goods or services or in the accomplishment of objectives, such as scientific investigation. With what I have learned in school, technology is simply the application of science. So much have been done. Advances even in technology itself are made.

As we try to look at the world before the age of technology, we do things manually, by the work of our hands, taking too much time preparing and doing chores either at home or at work. In this what we call the era of modern technology, meaning using the most up-to-date technologies. Cellular phones are not only for communication but more on social media and entertainment. Televisions are not only for teleserye or movies but they are even smarter now. They can be connected to the internet, can be used with a flash drive, and so on. Smart is indeed an understatement for all of these high end technology. These examples are just limited locally. Moreover, the techie thing in other countries are far more advanced.

Let’s see what technology has done in our life. People multitasks. They tend to do not only one, not even two, probably more than that is being done at the same time without getting too tired. What a relief. Technology have helped us in so many ways to make our lives better. We must use this, should we say, gift from above, wisely. In the first place, technology has been conceptualized for each and every one of us.
