Touching the Heart of One’s Life

-

Riza G. Santos

Teachers embrace exuberant but tremendous influence on the life of their children. They change the life of their children, moulding them on their modest decorum, and building inspirations and instilling aspirations to keep on going and growing to achieve their dreams in the future.

From standpoint, teaching is quoted as the noblest profession. Unexpectedly, diverse emotions, abrupt feelings and reactions for endless paperworks to be submitted on time; working overtime as the need arises due to exigency in the service; remedial instruction for academically challenge individuals; checking of papers and preparation of grades; home visitation; preparation of daily lesson logs and instructional materials; and other related works. Intrinsically, all of these things are being rewarded that outweighs all your struggles when your children learned, master the skills and apply what they have learned in real-life situations.

Every day you’re turning the life of your children differently that makes teaching as heroic profession. Your actions mean a lot to them; your gestures are being imitated, the way you dress, smile and talk are important to them; but more stunning is you are changing their life to the fullest as their source of inspiration to become a better person. This challenges you to be more creative, innovative and well-rounded in teaching.

As we celebrate the National Teachers Month, this is the right time to give tribute to our devoted teachers for their unending love, care and attention and magnificent contributions in creating other professions. Proud to be one!
