Update on CBMS

THE REGIONAL OFFICE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR and Local Government, in coordination with the local government of Mabalacat City, CBMS International, De La Salle University and Angelo King Institute, conducted the 1st Mode: Data Collection-CBMS Accelerated Profiling (APP) on October 2-6, 2017 at the Jade Hall, Xevera and attended by 147 field coordinators, editors and enumerators.

This activity had as resource persons from DILG Region 3 the following:

Melerie Pineda, IT Officer, Renalyn D. Iglesias, LGOO VI, Rainier Collado, ADA, Consesa M. Navio, LGOO V, Nedricks Canlas, Laverne Gonzales and Rita Gotiangco, LGOO V of Mabalacat City.

As usual, facilitating this activity is the CPDC headed by Rosan S. Paquia and assisted by Irish Camille Tolentino, Edelin Zabala, Ella Marie Gomez, Danica Pamintuan, Monaliza Cunanan, Roxanne Dayrit and Cesar Rivera.

Leading the Secretariat are: Francisco S. Foronda, Program Manager, Ellgeebher T. Mendiola and Paolo Miguel C. de Leon, System Administrators.

Definitely, this latest CBMS activity will bolster the CPDC’s roster of accomplishments geared toward accomplishing a complete and reliable massbased data and record.

The transformation of Mayor Crisostomo C. Garbo from the easy striding board member to a calculated, mission-driven local chief executive is visible and contagious as he goes on gaining valuable points which pile up on his way to reelection in 2019. An avowed born again follower, he moves in accordance with the teachings of his new-found faith and acts fittingly and accordingly.

He has gained more admirers and adherents because of his tactfulness and prompt action on matters laid before him. By the way, he celebrates his birthday on October 12, 2017 a day before Councilor Eddie Sotto celebrates his on October 13, 2017.

Surely, his good transformation for the better rubs on his subordinates and his team.

In my talk with CA Rosan S. Paquia last Friday morning, October 6, 2017, I have learned some relevant lessons on behavioral competence as he conducts business in his office.

Loaded with paperwork, interviews and conferences, Rosan balances his time and sight dexterously and competently as expected in an alter ego of Mayor Garbo.
