6 vehicles victimized by Basag Kotse gang
CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga - At least six vehicles were victimized by the so-called “Basag Kotse” group in a parking lot of Robinsons Starmills in Barangay San Jose, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, Friday ni ght .
Authorities here reported that those were victimized by the group were an Isuzu Sportivo SUV (XTM-444) owned by Melinda Clarin, 51, of Barangay San Vicente, Apalit, Pampanga; a Honda Civic Sedan (ZKA-795) driven by Ed Christopher David, 26, of Barangay Sta. Ines, Betis, Pampanga; a Nissan Juke (OXO-045) owned by Jamir Jazer Salita, 35, of Barangay Arenas, Arayat, Pampanga; and an Isuzu Crosswind, a Ford Escape and Mitsubishi Estrada whose owners were not immediately identified.
Stolen from Clarin were P20,000 cash, BIR ID, UCPB/ PBI/ Landbak ATM card, jewelry, credit card, iPhone and from her companion identified as Belinda Cabrera whose hand bag containing cash of P2,000 and personal belongings werew also taken.
Stolen from David car were Lenovo Laptop, external hard drive and personal belongings while from Salita were a sling bag containing cash of P200,000, Kia rio original key, pay to cash check, Bank of Florida passbook and other documents. David is a sales representative.
The three other vehicles who were victimized by “Basag Kotse” did not report to authorities their stolen items.
All the victims parked their vehicles unattended at the parking lot of Robinsons Starmills and went inside the mall. After a few hours when they returned, they noticed that their glass windows were destroyed by unidentified men.— Ric Sapnu
