Dimson distributes P282-Th scholarship assistance

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Board Member Salvador Dimson yesterday distributed some P282,000 worth of scholarship assistance to scholars of the second district.

Dimson led the distribution at the Provincial Capitol attended by the scholars under the assistance program.

The scholars are enrolled in different colleges of the province. Dimson urged the students to continuously strive for good grades.

He added that the scholarship program aims not just to help students with their financial needs but also impresses the need for students to do well in their studies.

Dimson said that the program has included hundreds of students in the province since the term of Governor Lilia Pineda.

“Though the assistance is only meager compared to the actual expenses incurred by students each year, this amount contributes a lot and serves to motivate students to do more in their schooling,” Dimson said.
