GLIMPSE OF ETERNITY
MARLITA B. MANALO
“The Goodness in yourself is a glimpse of eternity.”
But before we dig deeper, let me first define Value-Based Leadership.
Value-based leadership derived from the concept that personal and organizational values are closely inter-twined. Value-based leadershelp their members to behave in accordance to the organizationalvaluestomeettheorganization smission.Havingthis mindset can truly change the way how you should lead your team.
Having goodness in yourself gives light to you and your surroundings. Would you like to follow a leader whom you can trust, one who isrespectedby his/hermembers exudespositivityandgoodvibes? I think everyone. And having goodness in yourself brings confidence in your work, not worrying about what people will say to you because you know to yourself that you are doing your job with excellence and integrity.
We, as Christians, believe in the resurrection and eternity whose final destination is Heaven. There will be no more tears, no more pain, and no more sorrow (Revelation 21:4). There will be no more separation, because death will have been conquered (Revelation 20:6). The best thing about heaven is the presence of our Lord and Savior (John 3:2). So if all of us especially value-based leaders demonstrate goodness to everyone, we shall experience a glimpse of eternity, of heaven.
So, I encourage you leaders to preserve your values as a person, giving love, hope and respect to everyone. We have to endure sufferings and trust GOD, obey Him because He is our salvation. His love is overflowing and His goodness and grace overwhelming. He is the source of all goodness. How can you share a thing you don’t have? Just connect to the Source and read His Word through the Bible to imbibe goodness.
“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we shall reap.” (Galatians 6:9-10) — oOo—
