Pampanga cops bag 5 in anti-drug ops

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Operatives from the Pampanga Provincial Police Office headed by Acting Provincial Director PSSupt. Joel Consulta, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency III (PDEA-3) on Monday to Wednesday arrested five wanted drug personalities in various antiillegal drug operations conducted in Candaba, Floridablanca and Lubao towns.

In Candaba, authorities identified the suspect as Aries Gonzalez De Guzman, 36 years old, single and a resident of Sitio 1 Barangay Bahay Pare, Candaba, Pampanga, considered seventh most wanted drug personality in the town. Confiscated from his possession were four transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu.

In Floridablanca town, three drug personalities were arrested in two separate operations conducted yesterday by the Floridablanca police. The buy-bust operation in Barangay Valdez resulted to the arrests of Desiderio Suson, Jr. alias Jay (a former drug surrenderer), 34 years old, married, jobless resident of Sanchez street, Barangay Valdez, Floridablanca Pampanga and Michael Pineda y Meneses alias Mike, 40 years old, single, jobless resident of Purok 1 Barangay Solib, Floridablanca Pampanga. The operation also led to the confiscation of seven pieces sachet of suspected shabu and one single red Honda TMX 155 MC with plate number FX 4549.

Another buy-bust operation resulted to the arrest of Noel Flores, alias Noel, 50 years old, married, driver, and a resident of San Nicolas, Betis, Guagua, Pampanga.

Seized from the suspect’s possession and control were 10 pieces small size heat–sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, one P500 bill which served as marked money, one black wallet and one Black Yamaha YTX 125 without plate number.

In Lubao town, police and PDEA-3 operatives arrested Jonathan Garcia alias “Jo”, 29 years old, single and resident of Purok Ligaya, Barangay Pulung Masle, Guagua, Pampanga during a buybust operation in Barangay San Roque Dau 1st, Lubao town. Confiscated from the suspect were one red empty pack of Marlboro containing 10 pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and the P500 marked money.

The suspects are now facing criminal case for violation of Section 5 and 11 of R.A. 9165.
