CSF now ISO 9001:2015 certified
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO— The city government of San Fernando on Monday received its ISO 9001:2015 certificate during the flag raising rites here.
Mayor Edwin “EdSa” Santiago received the registration of certificate as ISO 9001:2015 certified given by the new certifying body Anglo Japanese American (AJA) Registrars, Inc.
This is in compliance of the city’s sincere commitment in providing quality public service on business processes.
Santiago said that the ISO 9001:2015 certification further boosts the city’s business processing system as recently, the local government unit and the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) introduced a new e-payment platform for the convenience, safety and security of stakeholders.
With the system, paying business permits and licenses just got easier for Fernandinos and investors as the innovative system allows payers to settle their payments with their credit, debit, and any ATM cards issued by BancNet, the Philippinebased multi-bank and multi-channel electronic payments network.
“We continuously strive to improve our business processing system for the benefit of our stakeholders, investors and fellow Fernandinos. This ISO 9001:2015 certificate is an inspiration for us to work harder for the public,” Santiago said.
Joining Santiago during the awarding were Anglo Japanese American ( AJA) Regi st r ar s, I nc. President Paul Bagatsing, Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin, City Councilors Harvey Quiwa, Nelson Lingat, BJ Lagman and the city department heads.
