January 19 is special non-working day in Tarlac City

TARLAC CITY— President Rodrigo R. Duterte declared January 19, Friday, As special non-working day in Tarlac City in line with the celebratio­n of the Second Kaisa Festival.

Duterte issued Proclamati­on No. 393 signed by Executive Secretary Salvador C. Medialdea on January 9 to give residents the opportunit­y to celebrate and participat­e in the occasion.

According to the City Tourism Office, the weeklong celebratio­n will begin with a Holy Mass on Monday at the Tarlac Plazuela.

From January 17 to 20, there will be a trade fair that features agri-booth, coffee shop, arts and craft such as actual weaving and charcoal portrait, pasalubong center or souvenir shop and massage center by Persons with Disabilit i es.

On the actual Kaisa Festival, there will be a Kaisa Grand Float Parade to be graced by Enzo Pineda, Jessy Mendiola, Arron Villaflor and Reina Hispanoame­ricana 2017 Winwyn Marquez.

Other activities include Zumba Shine Party, Miss Tarlac City 2018, Pana-pana Parade and Cultural Street Dance Competitio­n and Grand Homecoming Night.
