MABALACAT CITY — Pampanga First District Congressman Carmelo “Jonjon” Lazatin, Jr. yesterday vowed to work on programs that will provide more jobs for his constituents.

Lazatin issued the statement during the graduation day of some 226 individuals who completed various technical courses under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

The solon said he will continue to support the agency’s STEP mobile training programs on wellness, welding, automotive, hair styling, manicuring, and care giving in Mabalacat City, Angeles City, and Magalang town which covers Pampanga’s first congressional district.

Lazatin urged the TESDA graduates to apply the skills they acquired in order to get a decent job and income for their respective families.

Lazatin also thanked President Duterte and Congress for supporting the TESDA programs for skills training and livelihood.

TESDA Angela Gabriel encouraged the STEP beneficiaries to continue learning and improve their skills.

She also lauded Lazatin for supporting the TESDA skills training programs particularly in the province’s first congressional district.
