CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The Department of Agriculture (DA) Central Luzon, through Regional Executive Director Engr. Roy M. Abaya, thanked partner local government units and agencies for the achievement of the region in the previous year.

“Thank you to our partner local government units. We have registered 3.63 million metric tons and this was possible through the help of our municipal agriculturist and extension workers. This year we aim to increase our production through hybridization. About 20 percent of our total budget is allotted for rice. Moreso, we continue to give assistance for farm inputs, farm machineries, farm-to-market roads, post-harvest facilities among others,” Abaya stated.
