A productive collaboration

-

WITH THE ACTIVE support of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region 3 and the participation and coordination of the Clark Development Corporation (CDC), the Handog ng MCG last February 19, 2018 was a resounding success.

With over 3,000 job openings up for grabs that day, applicants had all the reasons to be glad as they went through the interview process at Jade Hall, Xevera.

The big jobs fair was spearheaded by the Public Employment Service office (PESO), ably managed by Bernard B. delos Reyes and the event was beamed nationwide courtesy of ABS-CBN. Some 130 applicants were hired on the spot, or HOTS, pleasing the officials of Dole Region 3 and, of course, the PESO staff who were in full force.

PESO Mabalacat City, meanwhile, continues to conduct jobs fairs in different venues of the city and strives to give employment opportunities to the residents of the city. It also has schedules for trainings and livelihood programs in the very near future.

One of its training providers is Global Experts School of Science and Technology, an accredited Tesda training school. It handles Slaughtering, Contact Center training, food processing and food and beverage. It has also deployed several graduates of the Slaughtering course.

MCA Kin Builders and International Technopreneur Development Institute are also two training provides for PESO. For lack of documentary requirements by the city government’s Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), the vouchers of the two training providers have languished at the Accounting Department and follow ups have proved futile.
