Gonzales leads inauguration of Malino-Anao bypass road
MEXICO— Third District Rep. Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales led the formal inauguration of the 1.5 kilometer San Jose Malino-Anao Bypass Road that will cut travel time between Barangays Anao and San Jose Malino.
The road project was formally opened to the public by Gonzales along with Mexico mayor Teddy Tumang and Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) regional director M ol ano.
Gonzales said the four-lane road will greatly attract development in the eastern villages of Mexi co.
He added that while the road will cut travel time between Anao and Malino, motorists wanting to reach
Antanio towns like Santa Ana and Arayat now have a convenient route to take.
“The road provides a scenic view of Mexico’s rural landscape. This road will usher in development in the coming years as well as provide a way for our farmers in the area to transport goods and farm produce to the urban areas,” Gonzales said.
Mayor Teddy Tumang said that the road development will contribute in the easy delivery of commodities as well as services in the barangays of the ar ea.
He added that opening new road networks is essential in meeting with Mexico town’s rapid development.
Tumang said that a town that looks into the development of adequate road networks would reap the benefits of proper urban planing in the long run.
The road project was made possible through the effort of Gonzales. The lawmaker promised to work for further improvement of the road networks of Mexico town’s eastern frontier.
