THE RISKY SIDE OF TECHNOLOGY

-

Technology has really taken our lives. We cannot live without the gift of technology. Anywhere, anytime products of technology cannot be avoided. Technology made our life easy but RISKY. In all aspects, technology is indeed useful. May it be in education, medicine, politics, business transactions and many more.

Teaching is now made easier, interesting and exciting on the part of both the teachers and the learners. Power point presentation is the usual strategy in disseminating lessons, information, messages etc. it is easy to understand and clear.

In teaching, technology is likewise the best method in the discussion. Students find it enjoying attending their classes when presented on screens. They are already use to this kind of lesson dissemination. Using the chalk and board method is boring to them. As teachers, we must be really innovative in our field of profession to level up the learning competencies of our learners.

If there are good effects of technology, there are also the ill effects. Although life was made easy because of technology, it made it also risky. Many people spend most of their time on their gadgets which results to poor health. Lack of sleep, poor diet and stress are just some of the bad effects of technology. Poor vision and hearing defects are causes of long exposure to different gadgets.

Communication is very easy, just a text, an email or a call could already reach miles and miles away to the person we would like to communicate. The true essence with emotions are not attach to this method of communication. Our good relationship is no longer bounded with love and care. We may easily call or text a person but the expression is far different when personally seen the person and directly express what we want to convey.

Technology may be a gift. Let us still mind to be a person who cares of someone’s feeling and emotions. Visiting and inviting personally a friend or a relative can relieve his/herloneliness.Thefeelingofbeingcaredofwillsurelybefelt.Beawisetechnology user.
