SM Tarlac holds 2nd Castaway Music Festival

Over 16,000 music lovers joined and jammed in the biggest summer party in SM and in the whole province of Tarlac–the Castaway Music Festival 5.

With beautiful rhythm and groove, folk band Ben & Ben kicked off the night with their one-of-akind music, touching the hearts of both millennials and notso-millennials.

MYMP (Make your Momma Proud) band also made concertgoers nostalgic with their 90’s songs. Moreover, guitar prodigy Bar bi e Almabis left the crowd in awe as she played the guitar in a powerful performance, not to mention, her sweet rock music.

One of the castaways and music lover Jed Pulamano, 30, said he is the happiest when he was able to have duet with a one of the country’s top OPM sweetheart.

Charmer for the night M i ch ael Pangilinan, on the other hand, not only serenaded the ladies during the event, but also made sure that they, too, participated even more to make the night more memorable.

In a statement, SM City Tarlac said “This is something staple for everyone, where they didn’t have to go too far or spend too much just to see their favorite bands/ artists. Truly, an event like Castaway served as the perfect break for everyone and anyone who wanted to get away from all the stress of city living.
