“Our first classroom is our home and our Mothers are our first teacher.” Such quote has been probably among the so many old clichés we know. But come to think of it as both a Mother and a Teacher I find it true and I want to believe that both are not easy. There are no easy jobs based on my experience.

Our first lessons at home were not focused on understanding the basic ABCs nor the DO-RE-MI-. The virtue of Discipline is I believe the first Lesson that teachers will notice during the first days of Formal School.. I salute those full time mothers who works 24/7 without complains. In fact there is a part of me who envy them and wishes that I could be just like them if time will permit me.

I am one of those who will forever be a silent cheerer in the background of every successful mothers who were there for their children from day one until the time when their children becomes parents too. Hats off to those mothers who never dreamed to be a teacher be teacher at least by profession but have chosen to be the Best “nanayteachers” in their own homes.

Kudos too to those Teachers who are not Mothers yet become one for all those students specially for those who have different struggles in their lives. Who never cease in finding ways on how to motivate their students to learn to Count their Blessings instead of failures and misgivings.

Not all Teachers are Mothers, but all Mothers are Teachers in their own unique ways, on the ways how they show their love, their affection and support to their children. Women at some point in our lives become Teachers… .in faith and Wisdom…

Such qualities and sacrifices ought to be given due recognition by all people of all walks of life. BE PROUD YOU ARE A MOTHER… .YOU ARE A TEACHER… .into your hands lies the future of your Children.
