Teaching our students now a days it’s not an easy task. We do not make our lesson plan just to have something to teach to them everyday. Our students will not appreciate what we teach to them if we do not engage them in most of our activities. Teachers should be very creative in imparting knowledge to his/ her students to have its impact to them. One way to do this is through the use of differentiated instruction. We should consider that our students are different from one another. We should take into consideration their uniqueness especially in terms of their learning styles. And because of this reason, we must exert all our efforts to make our students learn in a more effective and meaningful way. The use of differentiated instruction helps the teachers to choose the appropriate strategy or technique that will help arouse the interest of the learners. It will enable the teachers to bring out the best in their students. Through this, teaching and learning will be both easy and and an enjoyable one on the part of the teachers and as well as to the students. We must admit that it is not always easy to use differentiated instruction everyday for it entails a lot of hardwork but it is a must because we want our students to learn in the way that they can understand and engage actively in all the activities that need their cooperation or participation. Through the use of Differentiated Instruction, we train our students to build their self confidence and enhance their creativity. It also develops in them the ablity to conceptualize and visualize their ideas and put them into realizations all their learnings. And eventually, they will apply it in their day to day life situation. Again, the use of Differentiated Instruction it’s not easy for us teachers but with great determination to make our students learn from us everything will flow very smoothly specially when we see that we make a difference in the lives of our students through our effort to teach them just to make them learn.
