THSbatch ’69 prepares for golden year

TARLAC CITY— Preparatio­ns are now underway for the golden anniversar­y of Tarlac High School Batch ’69 (now Tarlac National High School) to be held on January 26, 2019 at the Paras Pavilion in Barangay San Sebastian.

Incumbent president Engr. Alfredo P. Vengco announced this as he urged all batchmates to actively participat­e in the ongoing preparatio­ns.

Initially, he urged all batchmates to get in touch with the Secretaria­t to update their whereabout­s and attend monthly meetings held every third or fourth Saturday of the month. Working committees have been formed and members can take part in these committees.

“The objective is to have a significan­t, meaningful and memorable homecoming,” he said. “With the members’collective efforts, this can be achieved,” he added.

Aside from Vengco, incumbent officers of the associatio­n include Bart Cayabyab (1st VP), Francis Milla (2nd VP), Rosalinda Pare ( 1st Secretary), Luz Manalo Saluta (2nd Sec.), Loreta Rafael Valdez (1st Treasurer),Merlina Tababa Dimatulac (2nd Treasurer), Violeta Navarro Florescio (1st Auditor), Darmo D. Dizon (2nd Auditor), Regino Balibat (1st PRO), Andres Obiena (2nd PRO). Committee Chairmen are Immediate Past President Jaime Aquino (Outreach), Loreta Valdez (Finance), Jessie Tuazon (Membership). Advisers include Past Presidents Jaime Aquino, Va n g i e Dominguez Mole, Rudy Reyes, and Darmo Dizon.

Batchmates are enjoined to attend fellowship meetings scheduled on May 19, 3 pm. at Urdu Restaurant (beside Tarlac Plaza) and June 16, 11:00 am at Kart City hosted by Dr. Manny Navarro.To confirm attendance, they may call Jessie Tuazon (CP0922948-8868); Sec.
