BRIGADA ESKWELA: UNLEASHING FORCES OF CAMARADERIE AND RAPPOR
In preparation for the opening of classes on June 04,2018, every school in the Philippines have geared up in cleaning, setting up the classrooms, and clearing the school vicinity to better equip the students in coping up and being highly motivated as influenced by their conducive learning environment. All members of the society have been invited to join a momentous and meaningful event to share their expertise in the preparation of Philippine school to cater the educational needs of our future generations. Parents who are experts on skill-based livelihood have also shared their precious time in fixing electrical fixtures, repairing the chairs and painting the walls of the school’s corridor. A simple act of sympathy, respect, initiative and tolerance will lead every school and the community to success in showing to students how little effort could result to success and improvement of the whole nation.
Consequently, there is still a need to careful planning and introspection despite the over-all success of such endeavor. A committee would be in the best position to decide on the target areas in every phase of the preparation. All the organization and small groups in the community who have been invited and who took the initiative to be part of the activity should also take part and parcel on the planning and evaluation process. This type of school activity is truly unique as part of raising the ‘Filipinos’Bayanihan spirit’. Best practices should also be shared and acknowledged as the teaching process itself. In the initial planning stage, it is best that parents, students, organization, teachers and members of the committee should be made aware of the expectations and target tasks to accomplished in a specific period.
After every success is coupled with learning and a zest to make something bigger and more triumphant on the next challenge. It is an overwhelming experience to siege an opportunity to get along with all the members of the community towards a single goal. It taught us initiative, tolerance and resilience. Hurray and Kudos to all who willingly participated and made worthwhile effort with their little time.
