-

MAGGIE S. TUBAON

The success of an organization school system depends on how leader manages the organization effectively, efficiently and competently.

An administration is in the vanguard in carrying out the function of the school. He leads the educational workers in the field and makes direct interpretation and application of the policies and directives of the system, provides condition favorable for effective teaching and efficient learning. He must be perceived by his teachers by a good example of a leader and a facilitator, technically competent and with well developed analytical skills, to assist teachers in order to bring all phases of the total school enterprise, a hamonious working relationship around him, and some central conceptions on unity in-herent in the processes desired in learning.

T- Team builder. Makes the teachers feel that they are welcome in the group and glorifies the team spirit by considering subordinates as partners in work.

R- Risk taker. Accompanies sourcers and boy scouts during jamborees. N- Networker. Coordinates school and community effort by participating and actively in community work and activities.

The improvement of the learning situation for children cannot be provided by centering supervisory attention upon teaching techniques to improve instructions, supervision must provide leadership that develops a unified school program and enriches the environment for all teachers, the type of emotional atmosphere in which all are accepted.

And feel that they belong, opportunities to think and work together effectively as a faculty group personnel produces that give the teachers confidence in the school system and program changes in honest evaluation. Teaching is the total product of experiences. Such supervisory activities produce the type of school in which teachers grow in their capacity to evolve more worthwhile learning experiences for children and for the purpose of analysis.

A formally first step in the improvement of the school program is the establishment of a common purpose. One of the reason administrators exist tot help other people agree upon certain goals and to work together for their achievement. The basic way for a leader to help is to create a satisfying emotional tone by repeating the personality of teachers by many manifestations. It involves being concerned about them and their problems, willing to place their desires ahead of them giving full consideration to their ideas and suggestions, creating the type of staff meeting in which teachers have, and opportunity to make their opinions known, encouraging, socializing activity that molds friendly relationship among the staff and providing working conditions that are comfortable and attractive even shows courtesy.

The leader has the responsibility for encouraging leadership in others if the staff is to exercise its full potential, the ideas and leadership of all must be exercised. Creating an atmosphere in which all contribute their best thinking must be the major, efforts of all leaders. We all know that the success of whatever endeavor of our youth and pupils is laid in our hands, Transformed Leaders We all could be one.
