Capitol inaugurate­s 2 school buildings in Lubao, Guagua

LUBAO – The Provincial Government of Pampanga on Thursday inaugurate­d two brand new school buildings in Guillermo D. Mendoza National Elementary School in Guagua town and San Pedro Saug Elementary School, each worth P5million. These were inaugurate­d in coincidenc­e with the opening of school year 2018-2019.

Third District Board Member Rosve Henson, who represente­d Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Vice-Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, pointed out the importance of having these newly-inaugurate­d buildings. He also said that the provincial government is keen on knowing what is needed more for the benefit of the pupils.

“Beyond our presence in inaugurati­ng the school building, is we are also here to check on what needs to be given to our schools to augment its capability in providing good education,” he said.

Dr. Leonardo D. Zapanta, schools division superinten­dent in Pampanga, meanwhile urged the school officials to take good care of the school buildings.

“Take good care of these buildings so that the next generation of students will benefit with them,” he said.

Also present in the inaugurati­on were Provincial Librarian Bessie Makabali, Provincial Investment Promotion Office head Engr. Lulu Alingcastr­e and local officials from the respective municipali­ties in Guagua and Lubao. — Philip Ocampo/
