Rina Navarro to Ara Mina: ‘I hope masaya ka sa nagawa mo.’
The issue about Ara Mina’s affair with a politician has now surfaced.
The guy involved is none other than Undersecretary Dave Almarinez, president and CEO of the Philippine International Trading Corporation who is suppose to marry Rina Navarro, Cinema Evaluation Board member and political strategist of former MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino.
She has learned of Ara’s affair with Dave.Rina has a six-month old son with the latter.
However, the wedding plans of Dave and Rina has been cancelled.
Is she happy now?
“Yes, sobra!” Rina quips. Why is she happy knowing that her wedding has been cancelled.
“Well, of course, ano... ahhh, the first month was... para akong namamatay every day. Siyempre, masakit yun. But the thing is, when you wake up, na magising ka sa katotohanan at malaman mo yung mga ganung bagay, magpapasalamat ka sa Diyos. Kasi, it’s more on... ‘Thank you God that you saved me from something tha is...’ Kumbaga, mas mahirap pa dapat yung pagdadaanan ko, e. Kasi, kung hindi ko siya nalaman, tuluy-tuloy sila. Di ba?”
Did Mr. Almarinez asked for her f or gi ven ess?
“Oh, yes. I believe his apology was sincere.”
Is she willing to give him another chance?
“He will always be the father of my child.”
Did Ara admitted what she did? “Well... Closed door, yes, she admitted.”
Did she say sorry?
“She said, ‘Sorry na nalaman mo, I was gonna reveal.’ Ganun. Ganun talaga yun. ‘Wrong timing lang.’Iyon.”
Is the relationship of Ara and Usec Almarinez still going on?
“Of course, they’re not together. I don’t think pipiliin niya iyon over me.”
What is her message for Ara? “I hope masaya ka sa nagawa mo. I’m sorry that this is coming out, but you know, the truth is out there. If you’re denying it, so be it. I don’t want to judge you, but you know the truth.” have options and not be a ‘victim’ of other people’s expectationshence this reply.”
