CHOOSING THE RIGHT PATH

-

MERALUNA I. MARIANO

Life is a journey that must be traveled no matter how bad the roads and accommodations. Savor the beauty each moment of existence and accept the gift of freedom in choosing the path you wish to wander.

The path offers diverge roads to choose from and each path overtures experiences to embrace. You may take the hard one, the road full of obstacles and often offers sacrifices and defies your fears and uncertainties, the road where the indulgent are most capable of passing.

On the other hand, you can simply exit a freeway where the restless appreciates to travel. Make effortless decisions at your convenience and enjoy the package it may bring.

It takes more than a handful of courage to face the realities of life. One cannot tell whether the chosen path is the easiest or the hardest unless you travel both. One cannot tell how far he has travelled unless he finishes the line or go back and choose to start with the other if the journey becomes rough.

In the absence of patience, one may turn his back and give up. Only to realize the journey is almost in the finish line. Giving up doesn’t make you a winner. No one has ever won in quitting.

Attitude is an element on how you face challenges along the way, no matter how far you get, no matter how easy or troublesome it may seem, this can be the key to success in achieving your aspirations. The right path is waiting for you.

Instead, we are wasting most of our time doing things that we don’t enjoy doing, and our way of living is having tremendous negative effects on our well-being.

Take the hard one.

Sure there are variations of easy path and hard ones but when we boil it down to the fundamental truth, we often know the right path to take but we often struggle with making a decision or a choice because the path we need to take is often a grueling one fraught with obstacles, unknowns and hard work. Back breaking work. Gut wrenching courage.

Whether we’re trying to repair a fragile relationship with a loved one or move across the country or make a major career shift or start a new business, choosing the hard path is not our first choice.
