TEACHING THE MILLENIALS

-

JAYPEE C. DE GUZMAN

In this fast changing world, technology drives people to different activities, their interest incline them. Academic performances of our learners seem to deteriorate if we will not abide with them through the power of multimedia approaches.

Traditional method of teaching is rare to apply, it cannot be avoided but seems boring for the Millenials. Technology base dissemination of the lessons is found to be effective and interactive among the students. Learners found themselves interested actively in their collaborative learning or any activity through the integration of media. Through the use of computers, students can explore many things, they find research fun and exciting.

Truly, multi-media knowledge for teachers is really a requirement in teaching nowadays. Teaching rellies most on presentation of instructions through laptops, screen and other devices.

As teachers, we are expected to be effective. Learners rely on us. Let us continually strive to abreast with the new techniques and strategies in teaching. Enthusiasm in teaching must be the motivating factor of our learners to be interested to come to school.

Technology made life easy but RISKY. Remind our learners on the value of being a responsible media-user in them the bad effects of media.

Values integration is a MUST in all subject areas. Discipline is declining as instruction dissemination levels up. This is alarming, this must be taken for granted. It is better that let one children / students / learners be closed to their families so as to God. Instill in their minds that multi-media knowledge maybe effective in learning but consider it as a tool for education purposes.

Our relation with our creator counts best. This must be STRESSED among our MILLENIALS.
