CLARK FREEPORT— The Laus Group of Companies on Thursday marked another milestone which coincided with its 40th anniversary, with the grand opening of Hyundai Trucks and Buses Clark, the auto conglomerate’s first Hyundai commercial vehicle (CV) dealership.

LausGroup Chairman and CEO Levy P. Laus noted that with the initiative, the company aims to fulfill its role of extending Hyundai’s global CV solutions to local businesses in Clark and neighboring areas to support and boost the community’s continued economic ascent.

“I have always believed that Clark is the growth epicenter of Northern and Central Luzon. With the opening of Hyundai Trucks and Buses Clark here, we envision to promote the freeport as a primary hub of commercial vehicles of Hyundai in the Philippines,” he said.

“Indeed, Clark promises so many things and we found that it is very timely for us to finally have presence here, as our way of showing our commitment to power the transport and logistic services of the countryside through cutting-edge CV products and services,” he added.

Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo, for her part, shared that the momentous launching of Hyundai Trucks and Buses Clark helps bring the Hyundai trademark of excellence and quality vehicles to Clark’s flourishing industries.

“We are proud to have landed rightly at the country’s so-called City of the Future, a former American base now poised as Asia’s next aerotroplis and a major urban center outside Metro Manila. Home to over 900 businesses and an emerging entry point to the Asia Pacific Region through the Clark International Airport, I believe that Mr. Levy Laus chose the right location,” she relayed.

“We are very excited to see Hyundai Trucks and Buses Clark lead the way in providing worldclass mobility solutions and we trust and support our equally competent partner, the LausGroup who is an inspiration for all of us at HARI, for this endeavor,” she shared.

Clark Development Corporation (CDC) Vice President Eva Tejada then extended her warm welcome to the newest dealership. She said that the whole organization is thankful for the LausGroup, which she regarded as one of CDC’s most valued locators.

Laus disclosed that aside from Clark, they will soon open Hyundai Trucks and Buses dealerships in Bataan, Baliwag, and Dagupan.
