Buy busts yield P180-Th Shabu, P300-K marijuana

LUBAO— Three students, which included one minor, were nabbed in a buy bust operation here by anti-drug enforcement operatives Monday night.

Two of the suspects were aged 20 and 18-years-old respectively and were reportedly from Olongapo City.

Retrieved from the suspects were 27 grams packed white crystals believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu inside plastic sachets, money as well as mobile devices. The Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit III estimates the shabu to be worth P180, 000.

The suspects will be facing charges under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Meanwhile, in Floridablanca town, around three kilograms of suspected marijuana leaves worth P300,000 were confiscated from four drug suspects during an anti-illegal drugs operation conducted by police authorities yesterday.

Joint operatives of the Floridablanca and Lubao police conducted the buybust operation in Purok 1, Barangay Fortuna, Floridablanca, Pampanga which resulted in the arrest of Florante Baluyut alias “Sonny”, 41 old, married, a listed drug surrenderer in Floridablanca; Tristan Mark Graellos alias “TitTit”, 20, single, jobless; Adel-Amor Tolentino alias “Del”, 30, married, all residents of the said place; and Clarence Guevarra alias “Renz”, 18, single, and a resident of Pulung Dagal, Barangay Solib, Floridablanca, Pampanga.

Confiscated from the possession of the suspects were numerous sachets containing suspected marijuana dried leaves weighing around three kilograms with an estimated street value of P300,00, one improvised plastic tooter, one improvised bamboo tooter, scissor and P500 marked money.
