One of the important roles of the teachers is the classroom management because it defines whether teaching is successful or not. The followings aresometips to make classroom management in order and successful:
1. Get closer
When students are being disrupted by talking and poking, gets closer to them to call their attention and let them go back to work.
2. Learn to listen
Address poor behavior issue. Misbehave students, tae them in the hallway in a friendly manner and ask:
* “Do you have a question?”, not “Stop talking and disrupting other stud ent s”
* “Do you need help focusing?”, not “Pay attention and stop fooling around while I’m talking”
3. Make everything clear
Classroom rules and regulations should be clearly stated so that students are aware. These can be written in a big poster. Includes rules such as: * Try our best.
* Listen to others.
* Be kind to others.
* Be polite
* And have fun.
4. Set standards
Classroom routine should be followed everyday. Students are expected to do the activity.
5. Student on the go
Support the students to engage themselves in a different classroom activity to develop growth mindset. Making busy in the class will make the room absolutely hassle free. Don’t forget to praise students for a job well done.
