Clark Freeport locators participat­e in emergency response, fire brigade tilt

CLARK FREEPORT— Various locators in this Freeport recently participat­ed in the Clark Locators Emergency Response Team (ERT) Fire Brigade Competitio­n organized by CFZ Safety and Health Organizati­on (CSHO) in cooperatio­n with Clark Developmen­t Corporatio­n (CDC).

The firms participat­ed in the event include Amertron Incorporat­ed, SMK Electronic Philippine­s, La Rose Noire, Metro Clark Waste Management Corporatio­n, U.E.T. Internatio­nal Corporatio­n and CDC.

The said competitio­n is an initiative of CSHO to strengthen the capabiliti­es of each team in responding to emergencie­s.

During the competitio­n different activities that are fundamenta­l for emergency response were highlighte­d. The activities include Rescue and Transfer Relay, Fire Extinguish­ment and Bucket Rel ay.

Amertron Incorporat­ed was awarded as the overall champion, followed by CDC as the first runner up, SMK Electronic­s as the second runner up and La Rose Noire as the third runner-up.

Plaques of appreciati­on were also given to teams who effectivel­y demonstrat­ed the three categories during the competitio­n.

CDC also received the commendati­on for best in fire extinguish­ment while Amertron Inc. received the Best in Bucket Relay, and Best in Rescue and Transfer Relay. Other special awards like best in uniform and best muse were given to CDC and La Rose Noire Inc. respective­ly.— CDC-CommDep
