Clark Freeport locators participate in emergency response, fire brigade tilt
CLARK FREEPORT— Various locators in this Freeport recently participated in the Clark Locators Emergency Response Team (ERT) Fire Brigade Competition organized by CFZ Safety and Health Organization (CSHO) in cooperation with Clark Development Corporation (CDC).
The firms participated in the event include Amertron Incorporated, SMK Electronic Philippines, La Rose Noire, Metro Clark Waste Management Corporation, U.E.T. International Corporation and CDC.
The said competition is an initiative of CSHO to strengthen the capabilities of each team in responding to emergencies.
During the competition different activities that are fundamental for emergency response were highlighted. The activities include Rescue and Transfer Relay, Fire Extinguishment and Bucket Rel ay.
Amertron Incorporated was awarded as the overall champion, followed by CDC as the first runner up, SMK Electronics as the second runner up and La Rose Noire as the third runner-up.
Plaques of appreciation were also given to teams who effectively demonstrated the three categories during the competition.
CDC also received the commendation for best in fire extinguishment while Amertron Inc. received the Best in Bucket Relay, and Best in Rescue and Transfer Relay. Other special awards like best in uniform and best muse were given to CDC and La Rose Noire Inc. respectively.— CDC-CommDep
