CHALLENGE: TAKE THE ROAD TO EXCELLENCE
BERNADETTE P. MENDOZA
A teacher’s world is not a garden of roses. r esponsi bi l i t i es.
Teaching is more of a MISSION rather than a PROFESSION. Some teachers say that they did not choose to be teachers, that some circumstances led them to their present position. Needless to say, teachers are so blessed to have been chosen to a life of service.
This being our destiny, we might as well “grow in the pot where we are planted”. Let us accept the Dep Ed challenge: Take the road to Excellence.
It’s laden with tasks and
Here’s how:
• Shift your mindset from mediocrity to excellence
• Pursue improvement on a daily basis
• Be extraordinary
• Differentiate yourself
• Exercise self-management
• Be pro-active
• Embrace change willingly
• Learn new things
• Set high standards
• Feed your mind with excellent thoughts
Excellence is not a destination, it’s the journey itself and while we’re at it, we might as well enjoy it and we’ll never have to work a single day in our missionary life.
