members by responding to their feedbacks and concerns via SMS which is a milestone in PhilHealth history.

The “Text Tanong or Text Sumbong” is a collaboration of Philhealth-3’s Information Technology and Management Office and the Public Affairs Unit, together with other private sector partners, to give clients total satisfaction by dealing with health care-related, commonly raised queries and data gathering on customers’ frequently asked questions.

Information Technology Head and Resource Speaker Arthur Binuya explained that the project is very beneficial to members because they can communicate easier and faster by simply sending a text and receiving a reply as quickly as possible.

"They could also send out their concerns to our PhilHealth portal. This will make responses and monitoring so much faster," Binuya said.

Binuya furthered that if a customer has a complaint regarding a certain office or branch, the message evaluator, the Public Affairs Unit, will forward the concern to the office or branch indicated in the query.

Concerned customers may contact (0922-999-2786) and 2987 (Sun) while using the following text formats: philhealth (space) TNG (space) message for inquiries; and philhealth (space) SMG (space) message for concerns with a P2.50 deduction in every text.
