The 22nd batch of trainees who completed the Language and Call Center Fundamental Training (LCCF) recently expressed gratitude over Clark Development Corporation’s (CDC) partnership with Sutherland Global Services in their initiatives of conducting the said training here.

In a testimonial during their culminating activity, Kim David, one of the 14 graduates of the training said that the 20-day activity gave them a chance to land on a better job.

“For CDC and Sutherland Family, thank you for giving us the opportunity to reach our dreams and goals. Before I came here at LCCF, I used to work as a construction worker but I have a dream and when I was asked to join the LCCF training program, I grabbed the opportunity,” David said.

Meanwhile, the other graduates also expressed their gratitude through a video to which they stated that the training have helped them to learn the fundamental principles of working in the BPO industry. CDC awarded each graduate a certificate of completion certified by the stateowned firm and Sutherland. The said completers will also be given an employment opportunity at Sutherland once they passed their interviews. About 40 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Bataan participated in the Seminar on Business Continuity Planning and Resiliency.

Organized by Department of Trade and Industry in partnership with the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office, the two-day seminar aims to capacitate entrepreneurs in sustaining their business particularly during disasters and emergency situations.

ASEAN Handicraft Promotion and Development Association-Philippines President and seminar resource person Dennis Orlina stressed the importance of preparing a business continuity plan in order to sustain business growth.

“Our aim is to build loyal customers by helping you make a plan that would sustain and develop business growth,” Orlina said.

“Only in sustainability will you develop brand and brand is not a name and it’s not just a logo but it symbolizes stability of a business,” he furthered.

The seminar is part of DTI’s Small and Medium Enterprises Roving Academy.
